Introduction to lino printing
This is an ideal workshop for those wanting to learn how to create their own unique linoprints. In the beginners printing workshop you will use simple techniques that can be replicated at home without the use of a printing press.
During your printing workshop you will learn how to;
Draw and cut on lino
Use of different tools to create texture
Ink up and print by hand
Print onto paper, card blanks and mini carrier
You do not have to be good at drawing to enjoy this workshop and you will get to take home a unique handmade peice of work together with your lino which you can continue to use at home. All materials are included.
You may wish to give some thought on a possible design prior to the workshop. Reference material will be available but you are free to bring with you an A6 sized drawing, photo or other image to work with.
It will be possible to purchase a starter kit at the end of the class.
We need a minimum of 3 people to run this workshop and the workshop is open to 10 years and over.
This workshop is run by local artist Sue Collins.
During all of our workshops photographs are taken for promotional purposes only. Please make us aware at the time of booking if you would prefer not to be included.
