Cavernous Carpet bag - Tues 8th Sept or Fri 20th Nov

These cute and clever bags make use of an internal tubular frame. when it comes to security and convenience these frames are excellent. they are spring-loaded so they only open (and shut) when you want them to. this pattern will show you how to easily use these clever bag frames so that you can make a unique and fabulously arty looking carpet bag (in 2 different sizes!) that is guaranteed to get envious glances from the girls. the bags are neat when shut, but pop them open and you won't believe how much you can fit inside. mary poppins eat your heart out!

Coffee & croissant - dates coming soon

it may not look like it, but this bag design uses an easy to insert zip. this particular zip technique looks professional, it's genuinely easy to do and involves no hand sewing (big bonus!). the shape may or may not be inspired by the delicious croissants from my local bakery. but i thought i'd add more interest to this classic shape by exaggerating it's width, which looks cool and makes this bag very roomy. the shallow bag shape is neat and nippy as you can keep this bag tucked under arm, but thanks to the extra width (and volume adding darts) you can fit loads inside. You will go home with your own bag plus a copy of the pattern.

Arc angel tote - Dates coming soon

This roomy tote is definitely a cut above the rest!  designer details such as the sweeping arcs of the top edge, the glint of shiny metal accessories and the graphic-look of the solid colour straps all combine to give this bag boutique looks! A versatile roomy bag in which you could comfortably haul loads of your: shopping/gym/craft/holiday/beach/overnight gear, but also looks sophisticated enough to be as stylish in the city as is would at a summer picnic. You will go home with your own bag plus a copy of the pattern.

This 'boden-esque' looking bag is as practical as it is good looking, it's roomy, but not unwieldy.  It will comfortably hold an unfolded mag/book, a bottle of water, an umbrella, cardigan, camera, snacks and the like, or it would make a fab nappy/diaper bag.  There is a very useful and large front pocket, for tube maps, sunglasses, tissues, tickets and such like. This is a lovely and fun to make design which will result in you owning a gorgeous and very practical bag that you can proudly show-off! Pack it in expandable bag - Tuesday 8th December

This fabulously roomy tote is just as pretty as it it versatile. undo the cute side ties and pack it to the brim with beach / holiday / craft / baby / daily / shopping / gym / workshop gear. Cinch in the sides to make the tote nippier, neater and more slim-line for quick trips to town. The piped handles look really proffesh, are comfier on your shoulders and are sturdier too. Oh and check out the natty front zip pocket! The bottom is a nice wide flat base for easy packing and rooting around for your gear and the sides are softly gathered to add a sweet feminine touch to a super-practical bag.
