During the course of this one day workshop you will learn how to create the basketweave stitch and create your own gorgeous cushion, see the picture below. The basketweave stitch is a highly textured stitch and is very dense making it great for cushions, baskets and even rugs around the home.
You will be taken through the stitch and pattern step by step and completely understand the concept of 'post' crochet. We will also look at a selection of variations of the stich, how to create your own and how to design your own pattern shoud you wish to make a different size cushion cover.
You will need to bring along your own yarn and hook. Afterall everyone has different tastes and colour schemes and we want this to fit right in when it gets home. You will need to bring along 3 100g balls of an Aran (also known as worsted weight) yarn.
This workshop is led by Sarah.
