Christmas screen printing
Get yourself organised this year and enjoy a Christmas table laid with your very own printed table runner or set of four napkins.
Perfect for beginners, or those with some experience, this day workshop will show you how to print onto fabric like a professional and customise just about anything. Screen printing is a simple but very effective process based around the creation of a stencil. Please bring some inspiration with you (photos or pictures are perfect). You will be using a paper stencil screen printing technique to re-create your design and our wonderful tutor, Anna, will be on hand with all sorts of tips and techniques to bring it to life. Your finished print will be in created in layers for each colour used.
You'll understand how to create your own screen printing space at home so that you can continue with your new skills. Maybe you'll go on to make matching napkins.
You will need to bring along a cotton/linen fabric for printing on to or we can provide a neutral, sand coloured linen runner for you (an additional charge of £10 will apply). All other materials are included, but please bring ideas for the image you would like to print, an apron and a packed lunch.
This workshop is run by local printmaker Anna O'Neill.
People do cancel and we do hold waiting lists. If the date you would like is full please do contact us and we can add you to the list.
During all of our workshops photographs are taken for promotional purposes only. Please make us aware at the time of booking if you would prefer not to be included.
