This course is suitable for any skill level, its one of our skills building masterclasses.
If you've not tried foundation paper peicing, maybe been put off becuase it looks complicated or maybe just struggled with all the flipping and turning this session will really help you out.
We'll work making a variety of FPP blocks to crack the technique. You can choose the ones that most suit your skill level and aim towards completing a multi piece block using over 20 separate pieces. All of the blocks made could be used in a variety of ways... orphan blocks make great cushiosn, potholders, notebook covers, and even quilts depending on how many you have. Their uses really are endless.
Your will need to bring:
A selection of scraps of patchwork fabrics. You can of course bring along Fat Quarters of fabric or cut lengths but if you do have scrap baskets of patchwork fabric this is a great way to use them up. For the rose FPP block all fabrics will be supplied.
We can supply a sewing machine and basic tools, but do feel free to bring your own. It is a great opportunity to become more comfortable with your own equipment.
A packed lunch!
