We're taking one of our popular classes online. This class will be delivered live on Zoom. and you will be given instrcutions for cutting everything out ahead of the session.
This is a gorgeous purse bag that is perfect for make up because of the way that the top stands open with the use of the internal frame. In fact the sturdy opening makes it perfect for a huge variety of uses and I use mine for my crochet & sewing projects and I've another I use for a washbag.
This is a great intermediate project as you can build your skills using interfacing and fusible fleece which give structure to the purse and you'll learn how to sew and insert your wire frame too.
The project is best completed in a strong cotton, patchwork weight fabrics are perfect or the slightly thicker cotton used for cushion making. Inside you have the option of adding one or two pockets.
You will need;
1 fat quarter for the exterior
0.5m of fabric for the lining including pockets. (if you would like jazzy contrasting pockets inside bring along a little selection of fabrics to work from).
You will also need heavyweight interfacing, fusible fleece and a wire frame. To keep it simple we can supply this, saving you having to buy more thn you need, but if you would like more details let us know.
I also have some of this yellow fabric left so if you would like that supplied for this class please let me know.
During the class you need access to an iron, ironing board and machine.
