Get sewing online

An online class perfect for anyone who has just acquired a machine or has had one sat in the cupboard for a little too long.

Not feeling confident about our settings can really put us off wanting to get sewing. The aim of this session is give you the confidence to use your machine and start sewing. If you are already sewing but a little unsure about some of your settings it's for you too. You can never know too much or hear useful information too often. You can always pick up a tip.

There will be chance for questions and it is recomended that you have your machine out on your desk in front of you during the class so  that you can easily transfer the information learnt.

The parts of the sewing machine

Threading a machine and winding a bobbin

Stitch selection

Starting to sew

Setting tension

Seam Allowances

Presser feet and how to change them
