Intarsia Crochet

Intarsia crochet is  method which allows for regular colour changes in your work without the need to sew in lots and lots of ends. Crochet work carried out in a number of colours where yarns are not cut but carried through the work until they are required.

You will be taken through the concept of intarsia crochet, how to hang your yarns to keep your work organised and we'll show you how to follow an intarsia chart. We'll be making a a piece of crochet that will be made into a zipped pouch, perfect for crochet bits and bobs, and we'll show you methods for adding zips to your work.

You will need to bring along your own yarn and hook. We recommend a cotton yarn of DK weight and about 3 50g balls of different colours so that the  pattern can be effectively worked and a 3mm hook.
