Learn together chevron cushion

£55 for adult and child

This workshop is a brilliant opportunity to spend time with someone important to you and you can both learn a valuable life skill at the same time.

During this session you will both have your own sewing machine and work on your own projects. We will eplain how a sewing machine works, how to sew (with an emphasis on beginning, finishing and respecting your seam allowance) and how to use a rotary cutter and mat. You will have a simple introduction to patchworking and machine piecing.

You will each need to bring;

20cm of patterned fabric 100% cotton

20cm of plain/contrasting fabric 100% cotton

30cm of fabric for the back of the cushion - this can either be the same as the patchwork fabrics or a contrast

A reel of 100% cotton thread in a neutral shade (grey/beige)

16"/40cm cushion pad .

This session is open to 10 years and over.

During all of our workshops photographs are taken for promotional purposes only. Please make us aware at the time of booking if you would prefer not to be included.
