In this workshop we will be helping you make at truly snuggly Onesie for yourself or maybe a family member.
This course is suitable for confident beginners, who have at least tried to put a zip in prior to this workshop, but you do not need any dressmaking experience. This is a 5 hour workshop during which we will lay out and cut our fabric. Due to the size of the finished item this does take a while. So, depending on your speed, it is possible that you will not finish the item in the workshop, everyone works at a different pace. However we will talk through all the finishing process so that you can finish off any last bits at home or we are offering particpants the chance to book a half price sew friendly in the following weeks where you will still have the tutor to help should you wish.
We will provide you with a pattern to make either a child or adult Onesie. If you are making it for someone else you MUST make sure you take their chest and hip measurements before you arrive. We will also assist with selecting and cutting out the pattern pieces and laying them out on your chosen fabric.
Your will need to bring:
Fabric – Fleece (max 4.2m for largest adult size, please see attached photo)
Zip – 14” for childs XS, 18” for child/teens S, M, L and 22” for adult sizes
