Working with 10" squares we will show you how to make the complicated looking quilt top in a few easy steps.
You can cut your own 10" squares, you'll need 42, or buy something called a 'layer cake' which is a pack of 42 precut squares all from the same fabric range, so you know they will all coordinate. Despite its sophisicated finish this is suitable for a beginner with some patchwork knowledge.
Join us for a fun day of cutting and sewing.
You will learn basic patchwork skills including rotary cutting and machine piecing.
You will need:
42 10" squares
2m of coordinating fabric for your border
1 reel of coordinating thread
Quilt rulers and rotary cutters will be provided, please feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
The workshop is led by Sarah.
During all of our workshops photographs are taken for promotional purposes only. Please make us aware at the time of booking if you would prefer not to be included.
